- water resistant, zero absorbability, float on the water
- lower weight in comparison with pa and pes material
- resistant to chemicals
- same features in dry and wet condition – bendability, softness
- knot – possible to untie even in wet conditions

- lower resistance to abrasion
- lower resistance to high temperature, use up to 80°c
- fusing point 170°c
